Joy Hart, MA, LPC, serves as the Behavioral Health Judicial and Involuntary Services Integration policy advisor. Joy has been a licensed professional counselor practicing in Colorado since 2002 and has 30 years of clinical experience in various settings. Additionally, she has extensive experience working within multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement behavioral health policy and programs for a justice-involved individuals with serious mental health disorders and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder treatment needs. In her positions at the Behavioral Health Administration, Joy has become very familiar with Jail Based Behavioral Health Treatment Services (JBBS), care coordination and has worked collaboratively with the Office of Civil and Forensic Mental Health.
