Jack Johnson is the public policy liaison at Disability Law Colorado. 

Disability Law Colorado is a statewide organization responsible for protecting and promoting the rights of people with disabilities and older people in Colorado through direct legal representation, advocacy, and education. 

As part of its responsibilities as Colorado's designated protection and advocacy organization, Disability Law Colorado monitors conditions in Colorado's prison and jail systems and works with state agencies and community partners to ensure individuals with disabilities in those systems are receiving appropriate treatment and care. 

In his role at Disability Law Colorado, Jack is responsible for working with local, state, and federal levels of government to address the public policy needs of people with disabilities. In this past year, this included working with members of the Colorado General Assembly to expand the Bridges program. 

Jack is a Colorado native who was raised in Pueblo. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and a juris doctorate from the University of Denver.
